CALI BEAR

Cali Bear is a character I developed a few years back. I wanted to represent a character that I felt would represent California, even more so LA. No other character than the brown bear of course. The first digital work was the concept idea I came of how I wanted him to look but he evolved when I started doing the mash up with realistic photos. Really had fun doing these.

Just keep swimming

Inspired to do this piece for Karla. She is a life guard for children at the local LA YMCA, who loves the water as much as I love tacos....That means a lot! I included her best friend Saba, who unfortunately has passed. I wanted to do something in the aspect of The Little Mermaid but with these two as the main characters.
